Appearance: Scoria is above average in height and slim almost to the extent of being unhealthily thin. His shaggy, unkempt blonde hair is shot through with skeins of a dirty purple color. Scoria’s eyes are a luminous purple, sometimes literally glowing, and framed by the heavy bags under them. He usually wears a purple, button-up dress shirt with a black tie and black trousers. Over his regular clothes he wears a white lab coat covered with spots of dirt, bloodstains, and a myriad of burns.
History: Originally a scientist for Hyperion, Scoria developed an obsession with and extensively studied the element Eridium after its appearance on Pandora. He became particularly interested in Sirens and their link to the element. He joined in Handsome Jack’s animal and human experimentation performed at the Wildlife Exploitation Preserve in an attempt to discover a way to create artificial Sirens; however after the project was shutdown, Scoria found himself without any test subjects. Consumed by his obsession, Scoria continued his research alone, and eventually tried to enrich his organs with Eridium in an attempt to gain Siren abilities. While he did not gain the Siren powers he had hoped for, Scoria’s body did begin to produce vast quantities of slag which gave him special abilities, but the same slag that gave Scoria his powers was slowly liquefying his insides and killing him. Despite continual research, Scoria has yet to develop a cure for his condition.

Abilities:
- Slag Off: Scoria releases excess slag build up in his system through his mouth, essentially projectile vomiting it at a target, creating a splash area of effect.
- Contamination: Scoria releases excess slag build up in his system through his pours, creating an aura of elemental effect around him for a short period of time. This both increases the damage of his melee attacks and damages any enemies that melee attack him.
- Internal Medicine: This ability is similar to the Siren’s phasewalk ability; however instead of teleporting a person or object, Scoria can only transport the excess slag in his system into other people’s bodies. This allows Scoria to instantly liquefy an enemy’s organs. That said, this ability is extremely taxing and Scoria is basically helpless for several hours after using it.
